I love this face ❤️

I am finally done with the stairs project. After stripping paint and lots of paint and stain work I'm happy to take a break until Spring when I'm sure I'll find something to work on.

The Nutcracker

We had fun today attending The Nutcracker tonight in Orono. I enjoyed watching the ballet. I wish I was that coordinated.

Peter bought me a nutcracker :)

Painting painting painting. May take awhile but so far happy with the results. 

I love hanging up wreaths and decorating outside. If I had any outlets outside there would be lights too. 

We got our Christmas tree. 😃

I had a great Thanksgiving today with my family. 

My sister cooked a large bird that tasted great.

This turkey was fussy today because she's teething.

I tried the new croissant donut from Dunkin Donuts. It comes in it's own box. It's bigger than a normal donut. It's like they glazed a crossiant. 

More progress on entry way 

I've had a bad cold the past week so I haven't up to too much. I slept most of the last two days. 

I've been doing more work to the hallway.  I used a heat gun to get most of the paint off. Today I purchased a new respirator and a belt sander. The belt sander did a great job when I tested it out. I've never used one before but did remember it's important to hold on to it or it will get away from you. 

Today I worked on the stairs. The plan is to strip the paint and stain the treads. I'll need to strip the floor too. 

Inspiration. 

This is how it looks currently. I got a heat gun recently and wish I had used it when I had started this project. More time consuming but less messy than using paint stripper. 

I had bought a few mums but they weren't flowering so I had to get more for the front steps. Also I liked the green pumpkins. :)

I found this plastic pumpkin at the dump. Peter told me I shouldn't bring home trash from the dump but I don't care. I put a solar light in it to try to light it up at night. 

My Mum made this years ago. It's hanging on the door we use and it's one of my favorite decorations.
