Dinner

A little tlc and now my car looks better, well besides the dent...the front needs work anyways from past damage.

My poor car.  :( I hit one of those poles in the construction on 295 in Portland.  I was trying to take the exit and didn't realize how close those poles were.

At the call center. So far today is going well. We dealt with conflict today.

On my way to Connecticut for work. We ate lunch at Panera Bread and rented The Hangover at Redbox at Walmart.

Verve Burritos

I finally went to Verve Burritos in Orono today. I missed the breakfast burritos but got to try a chorizo burrito with black beans, cheese, salsa, lettuce and tomato.  It was delicious! And yes I had to try a dark chocolate espresso cookie that was huge and yummy.  Verve looks like a great place to hang out with comfortable seating and they have Carrabasset coffee. I ate my lunch outside by the steamplant next to UMaine. Its such a beautiful day out.

I had a great time at my friend Corissa's daughter's 4th birthday party. I only got a few photos of my own because I took over using Corissa's camera to get the shots of her opening presents.

GreenDrinks Bangor

Tonight I did something different and ventured out on my own and went to an event by myself. I knew some people from Twitter were going but no one I am really close to. I asked a bunch of people to go but no one was free so I went on my own. GreenDrinks is a way to get people together to network and talk about the environment although to me it seemed more like a happy hour with free drinks but it was nice to meet some new people.

This is the book I'm reading for the month of August.  I need to post the other books I read, like finishing the Twilight series. This book is from the point of view of Mr Darcy.  :) I've been interested in Pride and Prejudice since reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Yes I realize the subject matter does differ. ;)
