I was sitting here today eating lunch and then chatted with my sister on the phone. Fisherman's Park in Brewer is a nice place to stop and sit by the river.

Yarmouth Clam Festival

I've been sick the last two weeks so it took a lot of energy to attend the Yarmouth Clam Festival.
I did have fun despite the heat and the crowd.

I tried out the slide scanner that Nick got me for my half birthday. I am so happy with the results. I scanned some slides of Sabi that Homer had taken years ago.

4Points BBQ in Winterport

Tonight I went out to dinner with Nick to 4Points BBQ in Winterport, ME. The food was decent although a little cold and they were out of a lot of the stuff. Next time will need to get there earlier before the food runs out.

My 30.5 Birthday Party

So I didn't do much for my birthday this year so I decided to celebrate my half birthday. I had a lot of fun and was nice to hang out with friends...and I got to break a pinata...that was awesome. :) Special thanks to Corissa and Shayne for hosting the party at their place and their gift and to Nick who carved me an awesome watermelon shark and got me a thoughtful gift.

Social Media Breakfast Bangor

I attended the Bangor Social Media Breakfast this morning which had a talk about balancing personal and professional in social media. It was a fun event and there was bacon this time. :)

 Before we headed home, we ventured further north and stopped at Loring AFB where I was born and spent the first few years of my life. Unfortunately all of the houses are gone, but the road is still there.

Nick picked flowers for me while I took pictures. I thought that was really sweet of him. I was feeling a little sad that the house was gone but the flowers cheered me up. He found me a pine cone too. :)

Where's Wendy? Journey Through Space

Today we went on a road trip up north and saw the Maine Solar System Model. Despite the rain it was a fun time venturing north up Route 1 from Houlton to Presque Isle.
