I was handed this cupcake at 7:45am at work. My coworker's wife got a Kitchen Aid Mixer for Christmas and wants to put it to use. Its hard to turn down a yummy looking cupcake. Could you?

This is the other light in the bathroom . My electrician was clever and figured out how to get it in the center of the room and was able to hide some of the wiring.

Yay! The light is up above the bathroom sink. Now I need to find a mirror that covers that big hole.

There is now a switch for both lights by the door instead of above the toilet so now people won't go into the bathroom and wander wondering where the light switch is. 

After GreenDrinks last night I went to Bear Brew with friends for a pint.

I attended Greendrinks tonight in Orono at the Black Bear Brewery. I brought my own glass. (I got it in Atlanta at the Vortex). It was nice to see friends and meet some new people. Fun time. :)

Yay! I have hot water now...new hot water heater installed. RH Foster guys did a great job.

I got a pallet of pellets today for my new pellet stove. I called the guy and he was able to deliver them today and put them in the barn for me. This should last me awhile.

Day 1 - Something Different

Happy Birthday to me and my twin sister! This picture is from our first birthday. 

My mother took the photograph. 

Day 2 -Something Different

I received an awesome birthday present in the mail from my Dad and Jamie. Yes, I did the happy dance when I opened the box. I love it! Everyone I know that has one has been happy with the Keurig and I really wanted one for myself. So excited to use it.  

Day 3 - Something Different

Moving has made me feel rather scatterbrained. On Day 3 on went to sleep wearing socks, something I never do and actually woke up still wearing them. I've been incredibly tired this week. I also tried to wash my hair with body wash instead of shampoo. I can't wait to be all moved in and settled.

Day 4 - Something Different

I spent a while at Home Depot and Lowes today. I ended up selecting the fixture in the middle for the bathroom because its simple and the brushed nickel. I don't think I ever realized how many choices you have to make when buying a home. Its a little overwhelming. 

First causality of moving. I now have a reason to go to IKEA to replace these glasses.

I had a visitor today at the new house. His name is Beau and he belongs to my cousin Corey. 

For some reason he didn't want me to take his photo but I was able to get this picture. 

He was very well behaved and a sweet dog. He followed us all over the house. 

Day 5 - Something Different

I installed the light shade for this fixture today because the original one looked like it belonged in a bathroom (this is in the kitchen). Process of moving has started and trying to get things organized and moved. On vacation starting this evening to Sunday.

Day 6 - Something Different

Majority of the outlets in my new house are like this...upside down. Not sure why and half of them have white covers while the other half have beige. Its been quite surreal doing stuff to the house already. I decided to keep all of them white although I didn't realize how many outlets were actually in the house. I've been feeling overwhelmed with moving and feel like I haven't made much progress moving stuff. I'm trying to get over a cold and it was a stressful weekend. Hoping for a good week and being able to get majority of my to do list done this week and be all moved in by next weekend.
