On Sunday morning I went to a tweetup with friends at Geaghan's for breakfast. 

I went to the Bangor Home Show and the only thing I found interesting was the Hobbit Holes for sale.

One of my light fixtures was all green. I polished it and was surprised to find out that it wasn't brass, but that it was copper! I rarely see copper fixtures so yay for that. I love copper!

I painted the mirror I found at Mardens green and hung it up in the dining room. 

I thought the room needed more green.

Still not feeling well. I purchased the one gardening tool I really needed so hopefully I can work on the front yard this weekend if I have the energy. Enjoy the Gizmo picture. What? You don't have Gizmo on your nightstand guarding your Chapstick?

Today wasn't that exciting. I'm not feeling well so trying to get better and take it easy.

I spent majority of the day outside trying to do some yardwork.

I did 4 trips to the dump which included filling my car with branches 3 times. I need a truck.

I think I looked quite a sight with my hair all messed up. The guy at the dump noticed my multiple trips and said I was busy today. I think everyone else had the same idea as me because the dump was busy. 

By the time I took a break it was starting to get cold 

but I did at least hang out in my hammock for a bit.

I tried out using spray paint today instead of regular paint. I bought this mirror at Mardens for $15 but it was black which doesn't really go in my house so I decided to paint it white. If I am patient I noticed the benefit of spray painting doing multiple coats. I may use it again to prime a piece of furniture that is my next project.

My socks end up everywhere, I toss them off at night

I bowled for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Saturday morning. 

I did not attempt to steal these shoes. ;)

I was joking around to try to only get 1 pin each frame but messed it up with getting a strike. 

I went to Home Depot and bought some dirt to some work around the yard. 

This is the walk way to the house, looks so much better now.

I played Poker Saturday night with friends. I wasn't very lucky with the hands I was dealt, but I did go home with some money and heard some funny stories. 

Today

this weed is all over my garden and yard :/

Yay! There has been progress on cutting down the large tree in my yard

I went to the an event  at University of Maine where Beth Rodden spoke about being a rock climber.

I thought it was very interesting and cool to meet her in person.

I won a coat in the Raffle at the event! 

After the event I had a beer at Woodman's with friends.

coin purse probably for a child from Easter but I thought it was cute.

This morning felt like something out of a Stephen King novel with the fog

It irks me a little that I can not have a business empire with my name

It rained and there was a beautiful rainbow. 

I replaced an old painted knob with another old door knob. 

Eventually I want all of the knobs to be the white porcelain ones like the ones downstairs in the house.
