I took part in face painting at work today. My boss asked if I'd get something green. She knows me too well. Thanks to Erika for great paint job.

Mmm hot sauce. I'm almost out. Wonder if sister will be ordering some more.

It took a while and I had to consult a map to be sure, but I drew this tonight on a bulletin board. I think it came out okay.

I found this in my tote of old stuff. Think I will find a frame for it. It's of my sister and I from when we were two years old in 1983.

I added more insulation in the basement, my least favorite activity. I took this picture before I threw a baseball cap on and went downstairs. (the baseball cap is my game warden one that I wear to protect my head because I tend to run into stuff in the basement with its low ceiling) Its still raining.

I finally completed this project. It's a sewing bench to use with a sewing machine that I got from my great aunt. I found some more of the fabric that I love at Mardens.

I love how my mother writes my name. :) I wonder if she knows I save everything she mails me. I wish my handwriting was that nice.

Doing homework while trying to not eat all the candy corn. I'm working on a PowerPoint about Nokia.

It's starting to look like fall around here. :)

Tonight at midnight I went to BullMoose to get the new album by Mumford & Sons. I couldn't wait to listen to it and was excited that they gave me a free poster with my purchase.

On Sunday I went to the Common Ground Country Fair in Unity, Maine. I had not been in years and it was a lot of fun seeing all the animals and checking out the local vendors. I couldn't wait to check out the food options and was excited to get a Pie Cone, which is pie in a cone. :)

Always make the Pie Cones your first stop at the fair or else this will happen. 

I spent the evening at University of Maine at Orono with my friend Chad. We did some tailgating and watched some football. I got my picture with Bananas the black bear, UMaine's mascot.

I made a planter using a trick or treat pumpkin to display the mum I bought today for the front steps.

I did not realize my owl obsession has spread to my clothes. Pj pants were gift from a friend a while ago.

I had leftover lasagna with squash and carrots. I am trying to make an effort to be more healthy since I haven't been eating that well that last few months since buying the house. I did a large amount of yard work since Sunday and I'm feeling very sore. I think its a sign that I do need to work out more to be stronger. The front yard though looks so much better after weeding and ripping up the lawn to even out the garden beds. At some point soon I'll plant bushes.
