It's a blizzard out there. I have been stuck at home all day. Thankfully I didn't have to work today with getting over two feet of snow. Today was stressful though with a branch taking out my power line but its mostly fixed now.

I made more progress on the chimney. There was a small problem where I lost the sledgehammer down the chimney into the basement but I did retrieve it with some work. Took a while to do cleanup but now living room is more useable. With help from Peter we got the drywall started and hope to make more progress patching the holes in the floor and wall tomorrow. I had to cover the hole in the floor with a rug for now to block the draft since it leads right into the basement.

I started a new project today. I got my hands on a sledgehammer and decided to work on removing the old and unused chimney in the living room. I started in on the second floor to get to the first floor.

Tonight I went bowling. I didn't realize Friday night is glow bowling. It was fun though I didn't break 100.

Today was fun cutting a hole in the ceiling to put in a vent.

It was my birthday on Sunday. I celebrated with my family.

Someone left me a note.

Some of New Years was spent playing Candyland.

I finally put away my Christmas decorations. I didn't really want to bit it was time.

DIY

This weekend we worked on the large hole in the bathroom wall. There had been a medicine cabinet there when I first moved in but I didn't like it. I had a mirror over it, but the hole did need to be patched.

All fixed.
