Green this week...

My current goals include saving up for a Digital SLR like the one above.

My Sony digital camera has been driving me crazy and I would really like to upgrade.

My other goal is being able to run and do a 5K this fall or maybe sooner.

Green Monster Smoothie

Going all Green this week. I finally made a Green Monster smoothie because I had all of the ingredients here. Its super easy and you can't even taste the spinach in it. It was very yummy!

Ingredients:
2 Cups Raw Baby Spinach
1 Cup Almond Milk (I used chocolate Almond Milk)
1 Banana
1 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
Ice

I love these bowls from Anthropologie. I actually own a blue one from there.

Most of the stuff is more than I would like to spend, but I do love the color of these bowls....

I think I've been giggling over this blog for over an hour...Graphic Design has always been an interest of mine along with marketing so I have been finding this website fascinating. They compare before and after of logos for companies. I couldn't help laughing about the Gap logo fiasco. They even compared the Doctor Who logo that was changed with the fifth season. I like the new one. ;)

I've been having cravings...I guess this one isn't as bad as the chicken wings and mac & cheese craving (which I still haven't had yet, maybe tomorrow) I actually found someone to bring me girl scout cookies tomorrow...I didn't get to order any, but found a girlscout that had extra to sell.

Good News...

Today I am proud to say I have zero credit card debt. I made a large payment and now everything is showing a zero balance. Credit card debt has been a weight on my shoulders for years. There was uncertainty with my job so it was hard to make large payments. Now all I have left is my car loan. I had to make some sacrifices. I really wanted to buy certain things when I got my tax return but I did the responsible thing and put it all towards my debt. I feel so relieved and happy although I'm sure in time I can enjoy being in debt with home ownership which I am looking forward to. :) I am still going to keep a close eye on my spending and build up a large savings account.
