Where's Wendy?
During lunchtime today Nick and I went to downtown Bangor and checked out the new shop that has opened up on Central Street. The Rock & Art Shop is a gallery style store that features unique products. It has an amazing collection of rocks, minerals, fossils, art, jewelry and plants that you can purchase for yourself or as gifts. It was fun to look around and marvel at what the store has to offer. I especially loved the ostrich that the store acquired from Perry's Nuthouse in Belfast. You can find items ranging from Maine made crafts to fossilized shark teeth. The store is open 10-6pm daily. They also have another location in Ellsworth at 1584 Bangor Road - Route 1A.

My new phone
I splurged and with my bonus from work I ordered an iPhone 4. I will set it up when I get home from work tonight. Super excited to try it out. I got home from lunch and the FedEx guy showed up right after I walked through the door.

Perry the Platypus
Nick got me a present yesterday. I was very surprised and happy to see Perry. He even makes the noise. :) Perry is from the cartoon Phineas and Ferb.
Maine Whoopie Pie Festival
I finally got to attend the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival. It was raining for most of it but I had a good time. I ate a lot of different whoopie pies and had fun hanging out with Nick, Corissa and Eowyn.

Where's Wendy?
Are you a parent? Do you have young kids and want them to have fun and tire them out at the same time?? Well today I went to The Maine Jump where you can do all of that. Its located at 312 Hogan Road in Bangor (where World Over Imports was located). Its a fun and safe place for kids 12 years old and younger to play. There are multiple bounce houses and the floors are child-proof . There will be an area for parents to hang out and use wi-fi and enjoy Rockcity coffee. I love the fact that the kitchen has a gluten/nut free menu. Also its awesome that there is now a toddler time from 9-10am Monday and Friday so the little kids 4 years old and younger can get their turn. During the day you can have two hours for $8 per child 5-12 years old and $5 for kids under 5 years old. Adults are free. Party options are available too and soon they will have special events. Like them on Facebook to see what's happening there.
I had a lot of fun going with Chad and Cullen even if I didn't get to go in the bounce house. :)

I had lunch today at Giacomo's in Bangor with Nick. I love the sandwiches there. Resisted the cupcakes, but not sure how long I can stay strong. ;-)
