Where's Wendy?

Have you ever been inside of a lighthouse? One special day a year people get to go inside a lighthouse and Saturday was that day. Did you get to take part in Maine Open Lighthouse Day? I went to visit the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. It was cool to go inside and see the view of the ocean from up high.

I found out it was apple day today and thought why not go to Treworgy Family Orchards in Levant, ME. 

I had fun navigating through the corn maze with my friend Jenny.

I donated blood today. Due to the hurricane recently the Red Cross is low on blood so please go out and donate. It takes less than an hour and doesn't hurt.

Go UMaine!

Saturday night I had the opportunity to go to the University of Maine football game. Thanks Chad for inviting me. We tailgated before the game and it was a lot of fun watching the game with Chad and Nick and I got to see fireworks after UMaine won 28-13 over Bryant.

Look Jenga! Later on we heard the crashing noise as someone lost at Jenga.

Some reason there was a DeLorean in the tailgating section.  What a funny looking car.

This morning I attended the Social Media Breakfast. As always it was fun to listen to the speakers and see friends and meet new people. And yes there was bacon. :)

I sent Nick the joke earlier that's on the right and got back this as a response. I think he's having a slow day at work.

I went to Giacomo's for lunch today. One of the cupcakes today was carrot cake from Cherry Acres Bakery. It was delicious :)

I went to the gym today. I had not been in a while and wanted to try running today to see how my hip felt. I was able to complete a mile in 14:32 and didn't feel like I was dying at the end. My hip did start to ache at the very end so I will have to keep it limited to a mile for now. It did feel good to move.
