I tried the new pizza from Giacomo's today for lunch and thought it was very yummy. The ingredients were fresh and it was very filling.

Social Media Breakfast/Happy Hour

On Friday I went with my cousin to the Social Media Breakfast which was actually a happy hour since the topic related to beer. It was interesting to hear the speakers discus how social media is used by local breweries. It was a first time for me attending an event down in Portland.

The speakers included Chris Brogan, Kai Adams (Sebago Brewing), Dan Kleban (Maine Beer Company) and Tami Kennedy (Shipyard Brewing)

Where's Wendy?

Have you ever been inside of a lighthouse? One special day a year people get to go inside a lighthouse and Saturday was that day. Did you get to take part in Maine Open Lighthouse Day? I went to visit the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. It was cool to go inside and see the view of the ocean from up high.

I donated blood today. Due to the hurricane recently the Red Cross is low on blood so please go out and donate. It takes less than an hour and doesn't hurt.

Go UMaine!

Saturday night I had the opportunity to go to the University of Maine football game. Thanks Chad for inviting me. We tailgated before the game and it was a lot of fun watching the game with Chad and Nick and I got to see fireworks after UMaine won 28-13 over Bryant.

Look Jenga! Later on we heard the crashing noise as someone lost at Jenga.

Some reason there was a DeLorean in the tailgating section.  What a funny looking car.
