Yay for the weekend :)

I wore my peacock feather earrings today. Its not something I'd normally wear but I like to step out of my comfort zone sometimes and I've always loved the colors of peacock feathers.

Its makes me so happy that I got to see this band live in Portland recently. I can't wait for their new album to come out in September. I rarely ever even notice when a band comes out with a new album, but I love their music.

From the garden

It was a great night seeing bands on the waterfront in Bangor. Ever since high school I'd always wish I had seen Bare Naked Ladies and finally over 10 years later I did. Cracker, big Head Todd and the Monsters and Bluestraveler played too.

I had a good night hanging out with friends eating good food and drinking good beer. It's nice just having girl talk sitting around dining room table. I liked the beer my friend got to share and thought the design on the can was really cool.

I made homemade pizza today. I used fresh tomatoes, Swiss chard and basil from my garden.

I'd love this B&M wool felt Macbook Sleeve to transport my MacBookPro. Isn't it a pretty moss green? :) Not a need, but definitely a want. 

Today I went to my friend's daughter's 6th year old birthday party. It was pirate themed and a lot of fun.

I loved my friend Shayne's shirt, Goonies Forever! It seems like time flies by. I remember her first birthday party when she was just a baby. 

A mermaid even showed up. 

My friend Cori makes the best cakes. 

This is a weed near my vegetable garden. It's pretty so I didn't pull it.

I saw this caterpillar and decided best to leave him where he was. I don't think he was the poisonous kind but wasn't sure.
