Feeling festive. Decided to watch a spooky movie.

I got a haircut. It had been two months so I thought it was about time to go. I'm still trying to grow it long.

I went to the movies and had drinks with friends. I've been trying to make a priority to be more social. It does make me more happy seeing people instead of spending too much time working.

I had a good weekend seeing family. I got to have a lobster roll too. :)

We had a 4.5 earthquake in Maine. I didn't feel it being further north but got to hear about it from friends and through work. No damage was reported and I think people were mostly surprised. In other news, I need a haircut.

I went down to Bar Harbor today and had lunch with Jessica and Jon. 

I had never been to 2 Cats before and the eggs benedict was very good. 

If you are ever in Acadia National Park you need to see the view of on top of Cadillac Mountain. 

Whenever I am in the area I make a stop at Bass Harbor and visit the lighthouse. 

Last year I got to go inside on Open Lighthouse Day. 

I took part in face painting at work today. My boss asked if I'd get something green. She knows me too well. Thanks to Erika for great paint job.

Mmm hot sauce. I'm almost out. Wonder if sister will be ordering some more.

It took a while and I had to consult a map to be sure, but I drew this tonight on a bulletin board. I think it came out okay.

I found this in my tote of old stuff. Think I will find a frame for it. It's of my sister and I from when we were two years old in 1983.

I added more insulation in the basement, my least favorite activity. I took this picture before I threw a baseball cap on and went downstairs. (the baseball cap is my game warden one that I wear to protect my head because I tend to run into stuff in the basement with its low ceiling) Its still raining.

I finally completed this project. It's a sewing bench to use with a sewing machine that I got from my great aunt. I found some more of the fabric that I love at Mardens.
