A friend developed old rolls of film and came across this picture which her daughter took of me years ago. I thought it was funny how they recognize me from a profile view. My guess is that its from Camden on a boat.

I mentioned to my coworker that I needed a piece for my door knobs at home and he brought these in for me! I was so excited to be able to make all the door knobs match using the original type of door knobs that are the white porcelain.

My coworker also gave me his extra sander that he didn't need. Yay for power tools! The sander is one of my favorite tools to use. He said due to my past history with accidents he wouldn't give me the extra circular saw he had, but recommend I get a nice new one if I dared to get one. Someday....What I really want is to get a cordless drill. Maybe when there are good sales I will pick up a set of tools.

And here is the Oreo donut from Dunkin Donuts. I had a stressful morning and decided why not.

I went to The Festival in Worcester this weekend with my friend Jess.

The venue was a beautiful concert hall, two floors of beer from around the world!

The samples were 2oz, I ended up trying 25 beers. I did have to dump some beer after a taste to be able to keep going for the four hour session.

I loved the lights in the Mechanics Hall in Worcester.

They had food trucks outside including a frozen yogurt one. mmm!

I liked how this brewery used duct tape :)

This Swiss brewery had awesome stickers!

Yay! I reached 100 unique beers on Untappd!

After the beer festival somehow I ended up at a moonshine tasting. I guess moonshine is now something you can buy at the liquor store instead of making it at home in secret.

I like my iced coffee shaken, not stirred.
I think it tastes better when you add milk and shake it versus stirring. And it chills it because I like my iced coffee really cold. I've been mixing iced coffee from the fridge with milk and no sugar. I don't even adding sugar to my coffee although sometimes I may add some of the vanilla sugar my sister made me. Yes I still have some left Charlotte, I tend to hoard things I like.

Love this quote....

‎"Don't shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like."

-David Alan Harvey #photography

This lilac bush was too close to the house and I wanted to add the same type of bushes on either side of the front door.

I came into possession of a saw and clippers. It took me a bit but I got all the branches off.

This lilac bush was like a tree. Sawing it myself would have taken forever.

My friend Alex came over with his chainsaw. It was so much easier to remove the trunk of the lilac bush and now look, all gone! I may try to dig up the stump or cover it in dirt and hope it decomposes.
Now to figure out the plan for the front yard...

My friend Jess tweeted this picture to me earlier. How did I not know about this? Wonder which ones I've been to.

Where's Wendy?

I went for a walk at the Ecotat Garden and Arboretum in Hermon. Its a great place to see different types of trees and to go for a walk.

I did some baking tonight for tomorrow night. I am hoping the new recipe I tried came out okay. I may try a piece tomorrow to make sure its yummy before sharing with friends. I liked being in the kitchen and smelling the peonies. It's starting to become one of my favorite flowers. :)

Yay Peonies from my garden! Thanks Mum.

So I had the tree stump out front grinded and I was moving the wood chips with my wagon out front. I must have looked very pathetic because my neighbor came over with this lawn mower. He showed me how to use it and went back to his house. So I've only used a lawn mower a few times and never a riding lawn mower. I was nervous but I was able to use it and move four loads of wood chips to the vegetable garden. I assume the feeling of using a riding lawn mower is like being on a tractor. If my lawn wasn't so uneven I'd be tempted to get one myself. I think I'll stick with my regular lawn mower. I am grateful that I have such nice neighbors.

I used the wood chips from the tree stump and spread them all over the vegetable garden. I am hoping that this helps prevent the weeds from growing. I am hoping my rhubarb plant gets better, its been in rough shape due to the slug/snail attack and I tried to help it out by moving it to a better spot.

My great Aunt Mary is moving to New York to live with her daughter so we went to visit. She invited us to come over and grab anything we wanted before they sell the house. I was happy to see her before she moves and it was nice to get things that remind me of her and her husband Uncle Red.

me!

My Aunt Mary used to collect owls...lucky me. :)

Not sure what this is for, but I thought it was cool.

I thought this was a cool book and grabbed it.

I'm not able to read French but I thought this book was beautiful.

Almost done! Grabbed some ice cream in Skowhegan on the way north today.
