Today was my work outing. We went to Blackbeards and played miniature golf, rode go carts, ate pizza and hit balls in the batting cage. It was fun hanging out.

Saturday I spent with family at my cousin Mel's wedding. So happy for Jon and Mel.

The favor was homemade candles that smelled yummy. My aunt did the center pieces.

I decided to start going to the gym again. Well my boyfriend decided he was goong to start going and convinced me to go with him. I've gained weight and haven't been happy about it because I don't like getting tired easily and clothes not fitting. 

I decided to try this running plan to ease myself into it. My hip started to hurt after running so I'm going to pace myself to avoid further injury. I really want to become fit to enjoy things like hiking and taking part in a 5k. 

I got to see family and the boys today. :)

Yesterday I worked on the kitchen and did some shopping. I'm trying acquire plants for the front yard. I thought this hibiscus was beautiful. 

My mother loves solar or LED planters so I grabbed these on sale at Lowes.

I wanted something temporary for an ottoman while I search. I think this will due for now. I found it Habitat for Humanity. Red is my third favorite color after Green and Blue. ;)

I finally took the plunge and decided to start painting the kitchen. Unsure if I'll do white above the beams. I really like the green color.

Bangor State Fair

Today we went to the Bangor State Fair. We went on a bunch of rides and ate fried food. I wasn't feeling super after the Berry Go Round, but tried to continue with the rides. 

I finally got to try a fried twinkie. It was sweet and tasty warm.

I also indulged in fried oreos which I have to say I liked more than the fried twinkie. mmmm. 

We spent a ridiculous amount to win this minion but I was left the fair happy. :)
