In my quest to see majority of the lighthouses on the coast of Maine, I went to see Owl's Head Lighthouse today on my day off to get it off my list. Honestly I was kind of surprised how small it was, but was cool to see it up close.

I went to Cushing, Maine today and
saw the Olson House where
Wyeth painted Christina's World.

Found it. :)

I really hope this happens. I will be able to save some gas money from driving down to Massachusetts. :)

Trader Joe's eyeing Portland

Grocery chain Trader’s Joes is seeking permission from the federal government to buy the former Wild Oats Market store on Marginal Way in Portland.
According to a release from the Federal Trade Commission filed Tuesday, the agency is seeking public comments on the deal. Whole Foods Market Inc. acquired Wild Oats Market Inc. in 2007.
Whole Foods opened its Portland store in 2007, and soon closed the nearby Wild Oats Market.
Last year, Whole Foods Market announced it would sell 13 stores to resolve the FTC’s challenge of its $565 million purchase of Wild Oats. Whole Foods said it would also sell leases and assets of 19 Wild Oats stores that have closed. Rumors have swirled around Portland since the Wild Oats store was closed that Trader Joe’s was eyeing the market.
Federal regulators had challenged Whole Foods’ 2007 acquisition of Boulder, Colo.-based Wild Oats, worrying the deal would create a natural-food monopoly.
FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz said in a statement last year that selling the stores would “substantially” restore competition that the purchase eliminated.
Whole Foods and Wild Oats were each other’s closest competitors in markets where they overlapped, the FTC said.
Lunch....failure...went to Burger King. I had a serious craving for chicken and I guess its okay since I only had a piece of toast with pb and almonds for breakfast and have been snacking on pretzels all morning. I am going to try to have a light supper then. I added a slice of cheddar cheese at home instead of paying extra and atleast I know its real cheese. I've been a little frustrated with my weight, but I think if I keep on going where I don't go out for breakfast and eat those fattening breakfast sandwiches I think I will see results soon.

I think so far this month I have been doing well. I haven't really gone out for breakfast like I had been doing so I have been saving some money there. I keep forgetting to make some ice coffee so I have gone out for coffee a few times. I made it to the gym tonight and got a good workout in. I did walk some on Sunday while I was out caching so I got some exercise in then too. I am really looking forward to springtime when it gets warmer outside. Super excited for next month when I am leaving the state for a few days and venturing somewhere new and fulfilling one of my dreams that I honestly never thought I would be able to do.
